After my sell-out show at the Exeter Fringe, I am back in London this month for the Camden Fringe Festival, which runs from 29th July – 25th August. Now in its 14th year, this established arts festival showcases some of the very best acts – a blend of experienced performers and ambitious newcomers. It is a great opportunity for performers and writers to get fresh ideas into the spotlight. The event really does provide an eclectic mix of entertainment for the audiences of the 300  or so productions that are on offer this year – everything from theatre, comedy and dance to opera, magic and mindreading.

I will be on stage on the 15th, 17th and 19th August performing Celia Delaney is … Angelic? This is my Work in Progress show for next year, about being a Westminster wife with a dark secret – a love child from a fling in France over 25 years ago.

I tell tales about my life and that of my imaginary daughter and ask, can you always blame the parents? Come along to one of the three dates and let me know how sympathetic you feel towards my plight!

Original humour, songs and ukulele playing – what’s not to love?
